I set out to create a mega-pack of 144 custom watercolor brushes 100 % from scratch.Ā It took me 250 hours of trial and error while sampling genuine watercolor strokes.Ā
Why would someone spend 250 hours on a pack of custom brushes? Donāt get me wrong, I would purchase a pack like this in a heartbeat, but I couldnāt find any. And since Iāve been doing digital illustration professionally for over 15 years now, I really needed it in order to work faster and achieve even better results.
I first thought this set is going to include about 20 brushes, but when digging into it, I decided to cover ALL the watercolor scenarios out there.Ā For the icing on the cake, I also threw in some niceĀ custom paper textures that really make the paintings look even more realisticĀ and even aĀ mini-course that teaches you how to use the brushes!
